■ 5-Minute Contemplative Prayer Guide

“Be still and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Begin the Guide

This short guide offers a simple way to enter silence and rest in God’s presence, wherever you are. Let each step unfold slowly. There is no rush — only a gentle invitation to awareness, peace, and love.

  1. 1. Become Still
Find a quiet space. Sit comfortably. Breathe deeply — in and out — and let your thoughts settle. Whisper softly: “Here I am, Lord.”
  2. 2. Become Aware
Notice your breathing, the stillness around you, the quiet presence of God within you. Feel gratitude for this moment of life.
  3. 3. Gaze with Love
Imagine Christ before you — kind, gentle, familiar. Let His gaze meet yours. You are fully seen, fully loved. Rest there.
  4. 4. Rest and Listen
Allow silence to deepen. Don’t chase thoughts; let them drift like clouds. Listen not for words, but for peace.
  5. 5. Respond from the Heart
Speak simply to God: “Thank You for Your love.” or “Be with me in all things.” Stay with gratitude and peace.
  6. 6. Go Forth in Peace
Open your eyes slowly. Carry this stillness into your day — into work, rest, and every encounter. Let your life become prayer.
